Pantea Karimi

An artist and arts educator based in San Jose, CA. In her works, Karimi tackles sociopolitical issues, specifically those that are relevant to her experience and background. She works with a variety of media including, photography, printmaking, painting, computer-generated drawings and frequent juxtaposition of sequential images and texts. She visually interlinks the mediums by using her digital silkscreen films to render watercolor paintings and to create digital imageries and videos.
